The objective of this training course is to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to audit of the organisation's Environmental Management System (EMS) with ISO 14001 standards.

• Understanding of ISO 14001 requirements

• Preparing the audit plan and working documents

• Conducting on-site audit activities

• Completing the audit

Who should attend

People involved in the internal EMS auditing processes within their organization. Participants are encouraged but not expected to have knowledge of auditing, environmental management systems or ISO 14001 before attending this course.

Training Methodology

Seminar-based training. Participants shall take part in skills based practical exercises and interactive activities. Live practical audits may be arranged for in-house training.

Course assessment shall be based on a written examination of one hour and a continuous assessment of the attitude and performance of the delegate. A certificate of achievement will be issued to delegates who successfully meet the course requirements.
